I offer a brief free initial consultation to let us meet and see if we might get along, and whether I handle the kind of issue you might have; and if so, what my fee would be. I will not however solve your legal problem during this free consultation.
Free initial consultations are only set by telephone with my office, and will include some pre-screening. For instance, if your case is in Alaska, we don't need to waste our time since I can't help you. If I can't help you, I will try to refer you to someone who can.
In addition, I offer a free "mini-seminar" to discuss basic principles of wills, power of attorney, life estate and joint deeds, and probates and methods to avoid probates. Please call if you wish to attend. No cookies, no beer, just some basic information.
Any consultation requires the signing of an acknowledgement that no legal advice is being given unless we enter into a formal attorney-client relationship.

When you can't negotiate a reasonable solution to a legal problem, oftentimes the only alternative is to go to court. Its usually a last resort and I endeavor to obtain settlements before filing suit. But if that fails, I do handle many types of Court cases, both for Plaintiffs (the party initiating the Court action) and for Defendants (the party defending against the Court Action).
I am admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts but I typically limit my practice to Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Brevard, and Orange County State Courts, on a case by case basis.
I am also admitted to the Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle District of Florida, typically limited to the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse in Jacksonville, the George C. Young U.S. Courthouse in Orlando, and the Golden-Collum Memorial U.S. Courthouse in Ocala, which include most Federal matters concerning Volusia County cases.
The following is a partial list of the types of Court cases I handle:
